Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 8:00pm

Bright Beginnings Guidance on COVID-19

We thank every parent and student for their patience and cooperation

Masks:

Masks are mandated. We must have masks on children 2 and over. All people entering the building must be masked as well

HOURS:

Our hours changed to accommodate additional cleaning/disinfecting, and government operating procedures.

We will be open 7 am to 5:30 pm. We will not accept children before 7 am and we ask that you be in the lot by 5:30 pm. After 5:30 pm our fee of $2 per minute applies.

We cannot change our hours until the government re-opens as normal.

We are currently evaluating what our operating hours will be once that occurs.

SICK POLICY:

IF ANYONE IN YOUR HOME IS SUSPECTED OF COVID-19, IS BEING TESTED FOR COVID-19, OR HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19, PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY FOR GUIDANCE! In all instances we contact our state DHS licensing representative and they tell us what our next steps should be.

For the time being, we MUST strongly enforce our sick policies.

If your child gets a temperature of over 100, we will be calling a parent for a prompt pickup. They may not return until they are symptom free for 24 hours, not on medication. If the fever lasts more than 2 days, we ask for a doctors note to return. If there are other symptoms, we may ask you to contact your doctor to ask for testing guidance regarding covid.

If your child has any of the other symptoms found on our sick policy such as vomiting, more than 2 loose bowel movements, discharge from the eyes and nose, rashes, or generally seems unwell, we will ask a parent to pick up. In that scenario, a child may not return until symptom free for 24 hours without medication. The child must also overall be comfortable and able to participate in the daily activities.

There may be situations where a director requests a child be checked by a doctor, and have a note to return.

FORMS:

Per DHS regulations, we will still be required to keep all student files up to date.

Please keep in mind - the state will be very stringent on children having their health reports and necessary paperwork on time. If your student is missing a required document, we will have to hold their attendance, while still charging tuition.
